Chapter 5: The Last Chapter -- February to December 2006 -- p. 3

With the east side now protected by a roof, we moved our power tools and generator into the barn. Our next task would be to attach pine siding to the walls of the lower floor.

Since the double-hung windows we had built during the preceding winter were painted and ready to install, work went quickly. In less than a week, we had sided and painted the east, north, and south walls.

With three of the sides covered with siding, we moved to the remainder of the roof, finishing the west side on July 31.
