Virginia Strom Precourt found her voice in isolated moments. As much as she traveled, she was very much a private person, happiest by herself in her pond-side studio. Quiet moments of reflection were very much a part of her life. She recognized it in herself and in others as well. And when she came across a young girl standing in the rain in a moment of contemplation, she captured that moment because she understood it so well.
