Virginia Strom Precourt would spend years circling around a project. For every subject, there always was an adjustment that could be as simple as turning the way a mother held her child. Most often, that would demand another sheet of paper and a fresh start. But, in “Just Waiting”, Virginia’s imagination seems to have spontaneously captured her drawing with a new “what-if” consideration hovering above the initial subject.
