Ballet classes at the Cyclorama in the South End of Boston was a friendly destination for Virginia Strom Precourt. She’d meet a friend for her preferred bowl of clam chowder at a hotel around the corner and leave in time to take in the afternoon dance classes. This untitled piece was a work in progress—on its way to becoming a finished pastel-leaf—when a stroke took Virginia away from her easel in 2007.
