Before we would sign the final purchase/sale contract, we needed to have a successful perc test. Early in the morning of September 13th we met at the site with an excavator, an engineer, and the two realtors. We all waited with high anticipation as the first holes were dug.
Our engineer dug a series of small holes, which he filled with the water that would determine whether or not the site would be buildable.
After several anxious hours, the absorption figures and soil data showed that the land would accommodate a septic system. We signed the Purchase and Sale agreement on October 2, 2004
